Lands on Podium in Prairie Dirt Classic!
(July
31, 2022) The Riggs Motorsports team followed the World
of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series to Boone Speedway
in Boone, Iowa and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois from
July 25-30. On Monday at Boone in the 'Hawkeye 50,' which boasted
a $20,000 windfall, Tanner English placed fifth in his stacked
heat race prior to securing a B-Main triumph. The Benton, Kentucky
ace then blasted past eleven competitors during the course of
the 50-lap headliner on his way to a steady seventh place performance.
Over the weekend at Fairbury, a whopping $50,000 top prize and
additional lap money was up for grabs in the annual running of
the 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' At FALS on Friday during preliminary
action, Tanner stopped the clock fifth quickest in Group B during
the qualifying session before finishing an impressive second in
his prelim feature behind only $3,000 victor Mike Marlar. On Saturday
evening in the 100-lap PDC main event, Tanner picked off a handful
of competitors during the extra-distance affair to land on the
podium in third behind only winner Brandon Sheppard and runner-up

English Fifth at River Cities; Seventh at Red Cedar
(July
18, 2022) Tanner English was back in action from July
15-17, as the World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series
was scheduled to preside over a trio of $10,000 to win throwdowns
in the states of North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. On Friday
night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Tanner
timed in second fastest in Group A during qualifying and later
won his heat race in preliminary action. After drawing the outside
of the front row for the start of the 40-lap feature, Tanner eventually
placed fifth behind only victor Shane Clanton, Dennis Erb, Jr.,
Mike Marlar, and Tyler Bruening.
Following a rain-out on Saturday evening at I-94
Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the triple shot wrapped up
on Sunday with a trip to Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
Tanner earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session,
won his heat race, and once again started the 40-lapper from the
outside of the front row. The Benton, Kentucky ace fought hard
for another top five showing before slipping back to seventh by

Grabs $10k in Highland Summer Nationals Win!

10, 2022) Benton, Kentucky ace Tanner English secured
his second DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory of the 2022 season
on Saturday night, July 9 at Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois!
Tanner knocked down the quickest lap in his group during the qualifying
session before claiming a heat race victory. After drawing the
fourth starting spot before the drop of the green flag in the
50-lap headliner, Tanner ran strong early in the feature distance
prior to grabbing the top spot on the 34th circuit. He then drove
away from the talented field to capture the $10,000 payday over
a top five that included runner-up Shannon Babb, Jason Feger,

English Nabs Pair of Hell Tour Runner-Ups!

3, 2022) Tanner English, of Benton, Kentucky, competed
in a trio of $10,000 to win DIRTcar Summer Nationals showdowns
in Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee from June 30-July 2. On Thursday
night at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois, Tanner
earned Fast Time honors of the 30 entrants during the qualifying
session and later placed second in his heat race. He then moved
up two spots during the course of the 50-lapper and battled for
the win late in the distance before settling for a strong runner-up
performance behind only victor Shannon Babb!
At Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky on Friday
evening in a similar "Hell Tour" contest, Tanner clicked
off the quickest lap in his group during time trials, won his
heat race, and later placed second in the 30-lap feature behind
only race winner Bobby Pierce. In the weekend finale on Saturday
at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee, yet another
$10,000 top prize was up for grabs. Tanner ran third in his loaded
heat race and after a rain delay, he was able to advance up to

Wins $5,000 at Spoon River in Busy Week!
(June
27, 2022) The Riggs Motorsports team and driver Tanner
English celebrated in victory lane on Thursday, June 23 at Spoon
River Speedway in Banner, Illinois to headline a busy five-race
week! In DIRTcar Summer Nationals time trials, Tanner stopped
the clock fourth quickest in his group during qualifying prior
to running third in his stacked heat race. The Benton, Kentucky
ace then started the 40-lap feature from the outside of the fifth
row and immediately pointed his #81E entry towards the front of
the stellar field. Tanner then took advantage of leader Cade Dillard's
mechanical woes to lead the final two circuits in bagging the
$5,000 payday ahead of runner-up Bobby Pierce, Max Blair, Ryan
Unzicker, and Brian Shirley!
In other action during the hectic week, Tanner entered
a similar $5,000 to win "Hell Tour" battle on Wednesday
at Adams County Speedway in Quincy, Illinois. After finishing
fourth in his heat race, he was able to advance past a trio of
competitors during the 40-lapper to land in the twelfth finishing
position. Over the weekend in the inaugural 'St. Louis Firecracker
Faceoff' at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, a pair
of Summer Nationals / World of Outlaws Case Construction Late
Model Series co-sanctioned showdowns were held at the St. Louis-area
facility. In Friday's $10,000 to win weekend opener, Tanner ran
seventh in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and fifteenth in
the 40-lap main event. With a $20,000 top prize up for grabs on
Saturday, Tanner finished sixth in his heat race and won his B-Main
prior to blasting all the way up to sixth in the 55-lap affair.
The action-packed week then came to a close on Sunday
with stop to Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois,
as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presided over a $10,000
to win throwdown. Tanner laid down the fifteenth quickest lap
overall during the qualifying session and later placed fourth
in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth
row in the 40-lap 'Wild Man Kelly Classic,' Tanner steered past
eight racecars to close out the week with an impressive fourth
place showing behind only victor Brandon Sheppard, Shannon Babb,
and Shane Clanton. He still finds himself third in the latest
version of the WOOLMS point standings - 170 markers behind current

19, 2022) Tanner English and the Riggs Motorsports team
struck out to Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and
Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on June 17-18 for a pair
of $10,000 to win DIRTcar Summer Nationals specials. On Friday
night at Granite City, Tanner laid down the quickest lap in his
group during qualifying before running second in his loaded heat
race. The Benton, Kentucky ace then picked off a couple of competitors
during the 40-lap feature to land in the fifth finishing position
behind only race winner Bobby Pierce, Dennis Erb, Jr., Ryan Gustin,
and Shannon Babb!
At FALS on Saturday evening, another $10,000 top
prize was on the line against the "Hell Tour" stars.
Tanner once again posted the fastest lap in his group during time
trials prior to securing a victory in heat race action. After
drawing the fourth starting spot before the drop of the green
flag in the 50-lapper, Tanner was running a solid fourth late
in the distance when a racing incident sent him hard into the
outside retaining wall. He wound up retiring with heavy damage
and was relegated to a disappointing twentieth place effort. Complete

Swoops into FALS and Wins $5,000!
(June
12, 2022) After initially planning on taking the June
10-11 weekend off from racing action, Tanner English made a last
minute decision to take his dad's red/white #96 machine to a pair
of Illinois ovals and the decision proved to pay off to the tune
of his first victory of the 2022 season! On Saturday night at
Fairbury Speedway, Tanner stopped the clock seventh quickest overall
during Super Late Model qualifying at the Fairbury, Illinois facility
and later ran second in his heat race. The Benton, Kentucky ace
then rolled off from the inside of the second row in the 'Pappy
and Bob Allen Memorial' and quickly gabbed the point on the fourth
circuit. From there, Tanner led the remainder of the 30-lapper
to bag the $5,000 winner's check ahead of Ryan Unzicker, Mike
Spatola, Kevin Weaver, and Tommy Sheppard, Jr.!
Earlier in the weekend, Tanner and the team made a stop at Tri-City
Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Friday evening. A weekly
Super Late Model show was held at the St. Louis-area venue and
a $1,200 top prize was scheduled to be on the line. Following
Tanner's convincing heat race triumph, the feature event was unfortunately

(June
4, 2022) Tanner English, of Benton, Kentucky, invaded
Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on June 2-3 for a
pair of special events. On Thursday night in an unsanctioned battle,
Tanner ran second in his heat race prior to nabbing a strong fifth
place performance in the 30-lap feature behind only $5,000 winner
Ryan Gustin, Kyle Bronson, Dennis Erb, Jr., and Max Blair. At
the St. Louis-area oval on Friday evening, the World of Outlaws
Case Construction Late Model Series rolled into town to preside
over a $10,000 to win shootout. Tanner placed second in his heat
race and seventh in the 40-lapper, which leaves him still sitting

Advances to Sixth at Sharon Speedway
(May
29, 2022) Benton, Kentucky ace Tanner English followed
the World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series tour
to the Buckeye State for a pair of weekend events at Sharon Speedway
in Hartford, Ohio on May 27-28. Following a rain-out on Friday
night, the $20,000 to win throwdown on Saturday evening went off
without a hitch.
Tanner knocked down the ninth quickest lap in Group B during
the qualifying session prior to grabbing the fourth transfer spot
through his loaded heat race. He then started the 60-lapper from
the outside of the seventh row before picking off eight competitors
en route to a strong sixth place performance behind only winner
Ryan Gustin, Shane Clanton, Josh Richards, Dennis Erb, Jr., and
Devin Moran. Tanner still finds himself third in the WOOLMS point

English Fourth in Keystone State Lid Lifter
(May
22, 2022) Tanner English trekked east to the Keystone
State from May 19-21 to compete in a trio of $10,000 to win World
of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series programs. On Thursday
night in the weekend lid lifter at Bloomsburg Fair Raceway in
Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Tanner ran second in his loaded heat
race before redrawing the eighth starting spot for the 40-lap
main event. The Benton, Kentucky ace then stayed out of trouble
during the rugged contest and eventually brought his #81E machine
home in the fourth finishing position behind only victor Max Blair,
Dennis Erb, Jr., and Josh Richards!
At Marion Center Raceway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania
on Friday evening, another $10,000 winner's check was up for grabs.
Tanner was unfortunately involved in a heat race incident and
was forced to utilize a series provisional to gain access into
the 40-lapper. He then blitzed past sixteen competitors during
the race to salvage a steady seventh place performance. In the
weekend finale at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania
on Saturday, Tanner placed second in his loaded heat race prior
to knocking down a solid eighth place effort in the $10,000 to

Lands on Podium in IL Speedweek Opener!
(May
15, 2022) The four-race "Illinois Speedweek"
kept the Riggs Motorsports team busy from May 11-14. Things kicked
off in the Land of Lincoln with a pair of $22,022 to win Castrol
FloRacing Night in America Series battles at Spoon River Speedway
in Banner, Illinois and Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois.
On Wednesday night at Spoon River, Tanner English placed third
in his loaded heat race prior to advancing ten spots during the
50-lap feature to land on the podium in third behind only victor
Brandon Sheppard and runner-up Mike Marlar. In the second round
on Thursday at Lincoln, Tanner ran second in his heat race and
later moved up to finish seventh in the 50-lapper.
The MARS Racing Series then took over the sanctioning
duties over the weekend in a pair of lucrative events at Farmer
City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in
Fairbury, Illinois. At Farmer City on Friday evening in a $15,000
to win throwdown, Tanner ran sixth in his heat race, second in
his B-Main, and eighth in the 47-lap main event after passing
fourteen competitors. In Saturday's speedweek finale at FALS,
which boasted a $30,000 paycheck, Tanner placed fourth in his
heat race, second in his B-Main, and twelfth in the 50-lap headliner.

English Ninth in Dairyland Showdown Prelim
(May
8, 2022) Tanner English and the Riggs Motorsports team
made the trek north to Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain
City, Wisconsin from May 5-7 for the three-day 'Dairyland Showdown.'
The World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series presided
over all of the action in the Badger State, which kicked off with
a pair of $10,000 to win prelims. On Thursday night in the opener,
Tanner laid down the quickest lap in Group B during qualifying,
ran fourth in his loaded heat race. and later moved up to finish
thirteenth in the 40-lap feature. At MTS on Friday evening, Tanner
finished second in his heat race before slipping back to ninth
at the conclusion of the 40-lapper.
In Saturday's lucrative grand finale, which boasted a whopping
$50,000 top prize, Tanner stopped the clock tenth fastest in Group
B during time trials. The Benton, Kentucky ace then placed sixth
in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main, which forced him to
rely on a series provisional to gain access into the 75-lap headliner.
Tanner then picked off eight competitors during the 'Dairyland
Showdown' finale to salvage a fifteenth place showing. He still
finds himself third in the latest version of the WOOLMS point

Third in WOOLMS Points Following Bristol
(May
1, 2022) Following a pair of frustrating nights at Eldora
(OH) Speedway and Brownstown (IN) Speedway during the week, Tanner
English and his #81E team ventured south to the dirt-covered Bristol
Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee on April 29-30. The World
of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series sanctioned the
2nd Annual 'Bristol Bash' and a pair of $25,000 winner's checks
were up for grabs.
On Friday evening in the opener, Tanner placed fourth in his
heat race prior to slipping back to twelfth by the finish of the
30-lap feature event. In Saturday's grand finale, Tanner finished
fifth in his heat race and twelfth once again in the 30-lapper.
The Benton, Kentucky ace now sits third in the latest version
of the WOOLMS point standings exiting BMS. Full results can be
